LEDC Update

We’ve just closed the books on another fantastic Farms to Families food drive in downtown Linden! The boxes that we distributed this time were a little different than last time going from 10lbs boxes to 30lbs boxes! The burden was greater on our group of volunteers, but we worked hard to get the job done! We served well over 700 households with fresh food that included poultry & dairy as well as fresh produce. The next drive will take place on Saturday October 31st starting approximately at 8 a.m. at the same location in Linden (301 S. Main St.).

Fishing America

Fishing America

After we drove from CT on the 20th staying the night in Middletown, my sister Debbie was set to go fishing with me for the third day in a row in the Atlantic. But the next morning she called me from her room informing me she had taken ill overnight. After getting her some stuff from the hotel restaurant, I went solo meeting my chartered crew Captain Coles Ford and deckhand Mike Grubiak at the nearby Leonardo Marina. Our modified plan proved to be like trying to crack the Da Vinci code to catch a fish.
