In 1990 I had the privilege of working for the United States Census Bureau as an enumerator. An enumerator is the person that knocks on your door if you haven’t yet responded to the numerous letters and postcards mailed to your address in March. Each door I knocked on in Cass County led to many questions and explanations about what the census is and how the information is used. So many people were distrusting of our government and felt the questions on the form were an invasion of privacy. That’s an ongoing issue and is no different today.
With cooler temps moving in, Linden is getting ready for Fall events. We had a great Cub Scout signup last week and a good group of 5-10-year-old kids ready to start their Scouting life.
