Daughters recognize family for patriotism
The Mark Epperson Chapter USD 1812 awarded a certification of appreciation to the Whorton-Smith household in Linden for correct care and display of the American Flag. Various extended family and ancestors have served in the military and inspired the family’s patriotism.
Coach presents memorial rings to mayor
Coach Caleb Goebel of Team Total Chaos presents two memorial rings to Mayor Clarence Burns at a special City Council meeting on Monday June 29. The rings are in honor of the city’s help and support with revamping the American Legion field and the surrounding area.

On Monday, June 29, Linden City Council held a special meeting to discuss the addition of a special program that will be available for teens and young adults who reside in the Linden-Kildare School District.
Daughters donate books to library
