This weekend the Atlanta Debate Team went to Carthage to compete. Alex Jones placed 2nd in persuasive extemporaneous speaking and Ingrid Baizabal placed 3rd in informative extemporaneous speaking.
Queen City High School students competed in a virtual UIL meet Jan. 30, at the high school. Clare Wong placed sixth in Number Sense and eighth in Calculator among all 3A schools that competed.

The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Office is now offering a “Early Childhood Educator Training Program” virtual mini-conference series. The new monthly conference is under the direction of Dr. Jodi Nerren, Early Childhood Health & Safety State Specialist. It is targeted at early childhood professionals but open to anyone interested in early childhood education.
