KPYN hosted the 15th Annual Marathon for the Hungry at Brookshire’s benefiting Rebecca’s Pantry on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. “A big THANK YOU to everyone that came out and dropped off food items, money and volunteered! It was a COLD morning!”

If you live in Cass County, you are eligible to submit your photos, along with description, to: kate.stow@casscountynow.com for a chance to have your photo printed in the newspaper! Photos must be at least 1 MB in size and in focus. No nudity or lewd images will be accepted. Winning photo will be judged on content, concept, lighting and clarity.

Now through December 6, 2021, the Cass County Photography Contest is now open for 4H’ers. The extension office is asking that those interested register for this contest so that they can better document participation in this 4-H Project, as well as plans for judges, awards, and incentives They aim for a more successful experience this year and beyond.
