ATLANTA – Beginning October 9, crews will be performing pavement repairs at night on the existing eastbound and westbound traffic lanes of Interstate 30 through Texarkana. This work requires restricting traffic to one lane while work is performed. Work is scheduled to take place primarily at night from 8pm until 6am. The work is estimated to take approximately four weeks. Inclement weather or other unforeseen issues could cause delays or changes in the work schedule.
The Mary Daugherty Senior Citizens Center is open all week for anyone who would like to join the group there for bingo, exercise, crocheting and a meal.
During the 2023 Texas Municipal League (TML) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Dallas, the City of Linden received a 2023 Municipal Excellence Award in management innovations for cities under 25,000 in population. The award recognized the City for its regional economic development consortium.
