A local animal rescue group has shifted its building plans, opting to pursue a new construction project in Queen City rather than moving into the Brooks Hospital building. The costs associated with the initial building project far outweigh the benefits of the property. The group is hoping to donate the hospital to the City of Atlanta.
At the January meeting, Mark Epperson Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 welcomed 6 new members. They are pictured left to right with President Tammie Duncan Blackburn Gail Mitchell Dorgan, Judy Grubbs, Codi Grubbs, Lori Tibbit,Vicky Seibel, and Alethia White.
