Imagine waiting for your child to return from a field trip or a sporting event, only to receive a call that the bus carrying your child has been in a serious accident. For too many families, this nightmare has become reality. And because school travel is so frequent, I know it will happen again.
In an age dominated by streaming platforms and digital news outlets, small-town radio stations continue to serve as essential pillars of community life. Far from fading into irrelevance, these stations provide local news, emergency alerts, and a sense of connection that larger media outlets often cannot match.
Jesus said, “If you continue in My Word, you are My disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32). The simple Truth is that people are in bondage to sin and destined for God’s eternal condemnation unless made free by the one and only Savior, Jesus Christ, who redeemed us by His holy, precious blood. To know and believe this Truth is to have freedom from sin’s curse and power and to have freedom to serve God in righteousness for time and eternity.
The Atlanta Lions Club hosted a special meeting for new members who have been inducted into the club this year and their sponsors.
