The Rev. Al Lewis is performing the dinner music for the Fairview reunion.An alumnus of the Fairview Junior and Senior High School, Lewis is a minister with the Restoration United Methodist Church Mission in Birmingham,AL.

A wall of honored persons was displayed during the 16th Reunion of the Fairview Junior-Senior High School Reunion Corporation (FRC) held at the Fairview Community Center. The displays are of Corylee Thomas, Richard Hodge and William “Bill” Harper.

Richard Hodges is receiving a living legacy award from the Fairview Reunion Corporation as a honored associate of Fairview High School where he was teacher and coach. Elaine Barrett Sam is presenting the award.

William ‘Bill” Harper is honored with this display at the Fairview Junior-Senior High School Reunion Corporation.The Atlanta native and Fairview High School alumnus is described as “Texas High School All Star coach.”

The Fairview Community Center in Linden is filled and stylishly decorated as it hosts the 16th annual Fairview Junior-Senior High School Reunion Saturday night.

The Linden Lions Club hosted its annual Installment Banquet on June 26 with former District Governor Sheila Donnelly on hand to distribute awards, install new officers and present gifts.

In his most colorful summer duds is Atlanta’s Mr. Bones found at Advanced Chiropractic and Wellness on West Main Street. Bones appears to have been in Hawaii lately and having returned with several leis. He always has to be dressed or else he gets cold.

Phil Rice says he likes a change of scenery every now and then as the reason for moving his exercise bike to the outside of Cass Country Fitness center. Rice, an exercise instructor there, leads classes which turn pedaling into weight loss fun.

This unusual yard sale is found at the corner of West Main and Louise Streets in Atlanta.They are general purpose military tents owned and being sold by homeowner Ron Mason.
