Know His Name

Names literally go back to the beginning of human existence. God named Adam, Adam named Eve. God even brought His creations to Adam for him to give them names.

Names mean something. Whether it is an object, an animal, a human or a group of people. Names hold meaning.

We are identified by our names. Our names are an integral part of our identity. It’s often the first thing mentioned when we introduce ourselves to others.

Many biblical accounts explain the meaning of a person’s name, and those names were significant to who those individuals were or who they were to become.

Jesus renamed Simon, Peter; God renamed Abram and Sarai, Abraham and Sarah, God renamed Jacob, Israel and the Lord renamed Saul, Paul.

Whose name is above all others? Whose name is the one we call on when we need Him? Whose name is legendary?
