As the seasons change and the holidays approach, many families in East Texas face the harsh reality of food insecurity. To help, HealthCARE Express is hosting a month-long Canned Food Drive this October across its East Texas clinics in Atlanta, Marshall, Longview, and Mount Pleasant.

The education division of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) offers nine certification programs, all accredited by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).

Amity Study Club members Jan Hamilton and Marcie Whatley delivered “Respect Bags” to Atlanta High School counselors,Whitney Adams and Lindsey Boston, on National Day of Service. The project is part of the club’s ongoing campaign to raise awareness about teen dating violence. Each bag includes objects such as journals, stress-relief items, and informational pamphlets listing national hotlines.These resources are designed to ensure students know where to turn for help. If you or someone you know are a victim of teen dating violence, contact the toll-free hotline at 866-331-9474.
