Mrs. Shannon Peacock has taken on the task of teaching Bloomburg’s talented students the world of hospitality. Last week she worked with the students on basic baking skills which included measuring ingredients, understanding cooking directions and using utensils. “Everything in the classroom is new and I have a Hospitality 1 and 2 class,” Peacock said. “We are bringing Home Ec. back. We are learning safety, how to cook, and all aspects of the hospitality world.” Pictured: Ashlyn Cox and Cassie, Jacee and Kaleigh Glasgow learn the basics of Home Economics which Bloomburg ISD revived this year.
