All of us know of someone who has served in the military. Some of us here today may have served in the military. At that moment of enlisting you stepped on the pathway to becoming a soldier.
As Jesus passes through Jericho in Mark 10 he walks by a blind guy on the side of the road who begs for a living named Bartimaeus and He asks Bartimaeus, “What do you want me to do for you?” Think with me for just a minute … Jesus calls you over and then He asks you, “What do you want me to do for you?” Please put this in the context of Ephesians 3:20 we are told Jesus can do, “far more than we can ask or imagine.”
Students at Morris Upchurch Middle School participated in “Santa’s Workshop STEAM Extravaganza” before the Christmas holidays. Students were able to choose from activities like, “Rudolph Racing”, “Candy Cane Bath Bombs”, “Christmas Baking”, “Build a Sleigh”, “Wreath Making”, “Design a New Hat for Santa”, and many others. Christmas time has arrived again in Linden! Families are gathering, our shops are bustling, and I actually had to break out the ice scraper on my car’s windshield the other morning—go figure.
What a place to wind up my touring of this great nation seeing all 50 states looking right down a fishing rod. I love the Sunshine State.
