After six months of being closed, Governor Greg Abbot issued an Executive Order on October 7 to open bars at up to 50% capacity in conjunction with county offcials. The decision will be based on hospital regions with low COVID-19 hospitalizations as of October 14.
The Atlanta City Council Monday approved the passage of a city ordinance that penalizes panhandling with a Class C misdemeanor in certain circumstances.
As of Thursday, Oct. 1, Cass County has a total 375 cases with 299 recovered and 15 deaths. Cass County currently has 61 active cases.
