Out of caution for students and faculty Bloomburg closed down this week due to the number of staff members out because of COVID. The school issued this press release on its social media page. “Due to the number of staff members out with COVID, Bloomburg ISD will be closed 8/16-8/20. We feel this is the best decision to protect our students, staff, and community during this time. we will be using state-provided covid days so we will not have to make up this week. We appreciate the support from our local school board and we sincerely apologize for any inconveniences.”
