CHRISTUS Health will certify all of its Texas facilities to resume elective care, and CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System is preparing to resume elective procedures and surgeries by the end of April, consistent with the provisions of the Governor Greg Abbot’s original order on April 17.
It was an absolutely delightful breezy spring night. Dad and I sat on the porch, enjoying perfect temperature, having a glass of wine, watching the colorful crop of new spring birds and admiring the fountain in the rocked pond. Lots of new birds have been coming into the feeders just in the last couple of days.
From the road travelling on the 11th I called my guide Frank Vilorio about my scheduled fishing trip for the 12th. He said we would probably have to cancel on account of a storm forecast colliding with our appointment.
Queen City High School students in Forensics Science classes connected virtually last week with State District Judge, Bill Miller. QCHS teachers, Stephanie Chickadel and Teresa McCulloch, arranged the Zoom meeting with Judge Miller as a follow up to the field trips the classes took to the 5th District Court in Linden earlier this semester.
