Atlanta High School Student Council Adviser Kim Charleston has been named the Texas Association of Student Council’s District 19 Student Council Adviser of the Year. This recognition celebrates her dedication to empowering students and fostering a culture of leadership and community impact.

CHRISTUS St. Michael--Atlanta has introduced a gratitude tree to the interior of its front entrance reception area. Its white trunk, branches and colorful leaves go with the Thanksgiving season.

Atlanta residents were full of energy on Saturday, Nov. 23 for the first annual Gobble Wobble 5K Run, held for adults and kids over the age of 10, and the Drumstick Dash mile run for children 10 and under. Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, it was reported that over 140 people showed up to either participate in or support the running.
