Thanksgiving gratitude tree
CHRISTUS St. Michael--Atlanta has introduced a gratitude tree to the interior of its front entrance reception area. Its white trunk, branches and colorful leaves go with the Thanksgiving season.
The tree stands next to a tall, traditional, red and white Christmas tree. One complements the other. The gratitude tree is light and bright, almost as if it is lighted from the inside. Both are close to the gift shop and across from the women’s auxiliary check-in and information desk.
At the tree’s base is a “Thanksgiving Gratitude Tree” program for the guest to pick up, read and contemplate. Inside are four pages of words of welcome, scripture and thankful prayer.
The decoration makes a pleasant addition to the holiday season. A brief look at it and reading of its messages will lead to a moment of gratitude, thankfulness and appreciation.
