Devastating house fire claims two lives

In the late hours of Monday, Nov. 25, first responders were called to a severe house fire in the Tanglewood Dr. neighborhood of Atlanta, which claimed the lives of Diana Fulks and her great-grandson. His name has not been released. Fulks’ husband, Gary, was rushed to a Dallas hospital for burn treatment and he was discharged to continue recovery at home on Thanksgiving Day.

Changes to vehicle inspection laws in 2025

Changes are coming to Texas concerning emissions on non-commercial vehicles. Those changes, however, will not affect the overall cost of registering your vehicle. Now, however, the $7.50 fee you are now paying the service station will be transitioned to an inspection program replacement fee that goes directly to the state. In Atlanta, the chamber office will still process renewals in the same way they have been.

The students joined with Spirit of America Dancers from all across the US. The group rehearsed prior to the event on the routine and then joined the others to present the performance for NBC. Students participating include -BRLR Stella Dunlap, Ella Kate McCasland, Amber Westbrook, Kynleigh Adcock, Anna Harbison. FRLR- Addison Sloan, Jacee Quaid, Reagan Thompson, Ella Stewart, Brooklyn Thompson and Emma Allen.
