The third annual Trail Grinder run benefiting research for a cure for Superficial Siderosis drew runners from a wide area Saturday to the trail head of Atlanta’s Sportsplex Park.
For more than 25 years, Atlanta and surrounding communities have joined together with over 1,500 cities in the United States and Canada to bring to remembrance the plight of millions of unborn babies through participation in the Life Chain.
School Bus Safety Week is a time set aside by schools during the third full week of October to share the importance of keeping students safe as they travel to and from school on buses. Despite the extensive safety measures in place, school bus-related accidents continue to occur at an alarming rate, many of which are preventable with more vigilance and respect for the rules designed to protect our children.
As part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s “Investing in America” agenda, “the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today announced over $3 billion for 25 selected projects across 14 states to boost the domestic production of advanced batteries and battery materials nationwide. The portfolio of selected projects, once fully contracted, are projected to support over 8,000 construction jobs and over 4,000 operating jobs.”
