Cullen Baker Fair celebrates 51 years
As of Oct. 17, of this year there are 180 booths committed with two weeks to go before the day of the Cullen Baker Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1. As always, the fair is on the first weekend in November.

The Amity Study Club held its October meeting at the home of Michelle Warren. Co-hostesses Rebecca Hamilton, Marcie Whatley, Janet Patillo, and Judith Lynch welcomed members with autumnal fare and festive décor celebrating the season.
October is widely recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and people wear pink in honor of the those who are currently battling the disease, those who survived it and those who didn’t.
Bowie Cass Electric Co-op hosted its Annual Meeting, on Oct. 10.The weather was great for the event and there were plenty of people and vendors present.
