Lane closures SH 8 – At Sulphur River, replacing bridges US 59 – From 1.2 miles south of FM 2328N to 1.9 miles south of FM 2328S, resurfacing road. Lane closures US 59 - From SL 236 to FM 3129, resurfacing road. Lane closures Harrison County US 59 – At I-20, replacing bridge. This last Thursday, two representatives from the Cass County Extension Office provided information about their services. Pictured on the left is Lindsey Hergert and to the right is Latresha Jackson. Lindsey discussed the health benefit knowledge options and Latresha discussed the master gardner services provided. Cass County is in great hands with these two.

Ray Werline has a specialty. It’s growing watermelons. Big ones. From his four acres of land in Cass County near Linden, he grows melons even for others to come to his field to harvest and sell on their own.
