Recently, Arlistel Maxie of Atlanta was recognized for his participation in the food drive that combines efforts of the Lions Club, Brookshire’s Grocery Store and Mission Atlanta. Maxie was named Lion of the Month for his leadership.

The “Where Is It?” mystery for this week is a meaningful one and important. Many of you will know this soldier and the mystery answer. Others will appreciate the reminder. The painting is in the law enforcement and justice center building in Linden where other military memorials are placed.

Art occurs unexpectedly sometimes. It may be a walk past Cass County’s law enforcement and justice center or inside its courthouse. An announcing poster will say, “Exhibition Courtesy of 903 Artisans” or “Local Linden Artists Present.”
