The world at large can seem, at the moment, a very large, dark, and scary. However, there is always a light in that darkness.

Members of Linden VFW Post 6968 gathered Saturday morning to place flags in cemeteries around Cass County. The flags are in honor of Memorial Day, a day to honor those who passed while serving in a branch of the military and is traditionally observed on the last Monday of May.
With the gradual reopening of Texas, those in Linden may notice an increase in traffic. Indeed, traffic was aplenty over the weekend in downtown. Some residents were out and about taking advantage of the reopened barbershops and beauty salons, while others went in search of the more delicious fair such as Uncle Juan’s and Venice Pizza.
