McLeod’s basketball program took on Hawkins on Jan. 27. The boys’ game was close until the final quarter in which McLeod pulled away for a 46-35 win. The Lady Longhorns fell to Hawkins 68-44.
Linden-Kildare’s powerlifting program competed in the FCA Liftoff at Texas High on Jan. 21. The meet consisted of 300-plus lifters from classes 1A-6A.

Wylie Jo Hodges has had a busy past few months. The young equestrian qualified for semifinals by being in the top 3 in the American qualifier at Marshall in September on her palomino mare, DH Jess Stellar “Jules”.
A 21-0 halftime lead was all the Rabbits needed, as they improved their unblemished record (7-0) by defeating Redwater 48-13 on Jan. 19. Noah Sheffield and Deondre Simmons filled the box score scoring twelve points each. Jaylen Henderson added ten, Hayes Highland seven, Jordan Henderson four and Jamario Crawford three.
