McLeod vs Harleton

The McLeod Longhorns defeated Harleton by the score of 55-22 on Dec. 12. The Longhorns jumped out to a 13 point lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.  
Blake Williams led McLeod with 14 points.  Trevor Deel added 10 points followed by Smith and Prince with nine.

M.U.M.S. vs. Hooks

The Queen City seventh and 8th grade boys’ basketball teams took on the Hooks Hornets in December 11.  
The eighth grade A team won by the score of 44-34. Arlander White led the scoring effort with 10 points followed by Manasseh Drayton with seven. 
The Queen City eighth grade B team fell 18-13. 
The seventh grade A team fell 42-12 and the B team won 19-14 led by Brett Midway with eight points.

AMS vs. Pittsburg

The Atlanta seventh and eighth grade boys’ basketball teams took on Pittsburg on December 11. 
The eighth grade A team won by the score of 33-28 and Alex Boston led Atlanta with 13 points.  
The eighth grade B team won 29-17 led by Alex Shelton with 11 points. 
The seventh grade A team beat Pittsburg by the score of 29-20. Kamrom Dickerson led the Rabbs with 10 points. The seventh grade B team fell 20-14.

M.U.M.S. vs. Hooks

The Queen City seventh and eighth grade girls’ basketball teams traveled to Hooks on December 11 to face the Hornets.  In the eighth grade game Queen City won by the score of 34-20. 
Nyla Harrison led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points followed by Chyna Stiger with 12. In the seventh grade game, Queen City fell by the score of 39-7. Landri Beckham score five points for the Lady Bulldogs.

Lady Bulldogs

Dec. 12, Queen City’s varsity girls’ team steamrolled Hughes Springs, 53-15, in district action.
QC held a modest, 12-7, lead after the first quarter but a 17-0 run in the second put the Lady Bulldogs ahead, 29-7, at the break.
QC outscored the Lady Mustangs 24-8 in the second half to complete the obliteration.
Jacie Lance scored a team-high 19 points, Madi Jones added 10 and Tiera Johnson poured in eight.
CeCe Walker grabbed 13 boards and Lance, Jones and Jessica Jones added seven rebounds apiece.
Dec. 15, the Lady Bulldogs dropped Daingerfield, 58-39.
QC dominated the first quarter, 22-7, and held a, 39-18, lead at halftime.
Jacie Lance put up 23 points, Emily Maxwell added 12 and CeCe Walker 10.
