Scott Brandon Jester, age 53, of Queen City, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. Scott was born on January 3, 1968 in Brownwood, Texas to Wilburn and Betty Parker Jester.

Preceded in death by his father, Wilburn Jester; mother, Betty Jester Moore; and his stepfather, Vernon Moore, he is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Lori Kennedy Jester of Queen City; son, Brandon DeWayne Jester of Atlanta; two stepchildren: Garrett Kennedy and wife Brittany Potter of Clyde, Texas, Shelby Kennedy and fiancé, Mark D’Arezzo of Abilene, Texas; one grandson, Brantley Kennedy of Clyde; siblings: Elaine and husband Richard Higgins of Kingston, Oklahoma, Terry and husband Doug Ruby of Waldo, Arkansas, Hugh and wife Lisa Jester of Atlanta; and numerous step-siblings; along with nieces and nephews.

Scott worked many years in law enforcement with various agencies in Atlanta, Queen City, and McLeod ISD; most recently retiring from the Cass County Sheriff ’s office as a dispatcher. He aspired to work in law enforcement at an early age and found serving his community rewarding and fulfilling. Fiercely patriotic, Scott loved Texas and he loved his country. He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with family and friends, fishing and making people laugh. Scott loved the Lord with all his heart and longed for heaven and home. A member of First Baptist Church Queen City, he was well loved and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at First Baptist Church Queen City (206 Marietta St Queen City, TX with a memorial service to follow at 11 am at the church. A private family burial will be held at Good Exchange Cemetery.
