Rev. Bobby Stout
Bobby Wayne “Bob” Stout, age 70, of Bloomburg, Texas, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 7, 2020 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.
Bobby was born July 5, 1950 in Texarkana, Texas to Robert and Virginia Neal Stout. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and loved wood working. Bobby was the pastor of Sand Hill Assembly of God Church for 25 plus years, owned Bob’s Archery and Bob’s Wood Shed and worked at Red River Army Depot for over 30 years.
He loved his girls and would do anything for them, or anyone else who needed him. He had the mind of an engineer and could build or fix anything. He even built his own sawmill.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Ernestine Stout; son in law, Ronny Calhoun; grandsons, Dustin Calhoun, Ayden Brown; sister, Robbie Hinds and his parents.
Bob is survived by four daughters, Tammy Mason and husband Rob of Bivins, Texas, Melanie Sheffield of Bloomburg, Texas, Kay Kay Brown of Bloomburg, Texas, Missy Davison and husband Billy of Texarkana, Texas; eight grandchildren, Chase Calhoun, Trevor Cornelius, Karli Sheffield, Peyton Brown, Alexis Waldum and husband Adam, Nicholas Mason, Kolby Mason, Mason Brown; two brothers, Mike Stout and wife Christine of Fouke, Arkansas, Dennis Stout and wife Kathy of Doddridge, Arkansas; one sister, Mary Ann Speights of Texarkana, Texas; and a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at Sand Hill Assembly of God Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Rev. Keith Hampton and Rev. Ronnie Raines officiating.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment was in Macedonia Cemetery.
