Jessie Legron Wilder, 74 of Bivins, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. 
He was born March 13, 1944, in Texarkana, to William and Etta Wilder. He lived in this area all of his life. He loved gardening, farming, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Free Spirit Motorcycle Club. He served our country in the U. S. Air Force in Vietnam
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patsy; his daughter, Carolyn; and his brother, Jimmie. 
He is survived by his four children, Wayne Wilder and wife Karie of Bivins, Jessie Wilder and wife Becky of McLeod, Jennifer Wilder and husband David Horn of Rodessa, La., and Christopher Wilder of Bivins; his sisters and brothers, Bennie, Dennis, Lonnie, Emma Jean, Mary Jo and Minnie Earl; five grandchildren, Patrick, Naomi, Niki, Kennan and Marisha;  and nine great-grandchildren,  Andy, Nathan, Kloe, Gracie, Preston, Kamdyn, Jaxen, Lanie and Reagan.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 5 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, La.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, May 7, at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Jason Wilder. Interment followed at Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Ida, La., under the direction of Gorsulowsky Funeral Home
Pallbearers were Jeff Wilder, Keenen Lee, Cullen Wilder, Chad Wilder, Shane Hughes and Jonathan Wilder. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Wilder and Tommy Wilder.
Nov. 12, 1955 - April 29, 2018
Dorothy J. Tims, 62, of Farmersville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 29, 2018, in a Dallas hospice facility.
She was born Nov. 12, 1955, in Atlanta, to Billy and Tommye Tims. She was retired from Verizon Wireless, was a bail bondswoman and was a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed spending time playing card games, especially “Hand and Foot” and spending time with her great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is survived by her husband Michael Moore of Farmersville; her parents, Billy and Tommye Tims of Atlanta; daughter, Jillian Adams and husband Robert of Fort Worth; three brothers, Bobby Tims of Norman, Okla., Keith Tims of Wills Point and B. B. Tims of Mena, Ark.; a sister, Donna Shirhall of Atlanta; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 3, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Robert Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Dorothy Dorwese Zylks Keener, 103, of Trinity, formerly of Zylks, La., died Friday, May 4, 2018, at her son’s residence.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. at Queen City Funeral Home Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Interment followed at Slaughter Cemetery in Rodessa, La., under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home.

Lydia A. “Pee-Wee” Harrod, 85, of Linden, died Monday, April 30, 2018, in a local nursing home.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at New Colony Baptist Church. Interment followed in the New Colony Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Linden.

Denielle Marie Carper, 34, of Linden, died Thursday, April 26, 2018.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home.

James Cornelius Sheffield Jr., 81, of Texarkana, formerly of Cass County, died Friday, April 6, at Texarkana hospital.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6 at Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder Davis Funeral Home of Linden.
