ROSS GRIFFIN

Ross L. Griffin, 79, of Atlanta, went to be with Lord, Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, in an Atlanta hospital.
He was born Oct. 8, 1938, in Cass County, to Isadore and Christabel Griffin. He was a member of Laws Chapel Methodist Church, retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company and a veteran of the U. S. Army and the Texas National Guard. He loved gardening and following their retirements, taking trips traveling with his beloved wife, Judy. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ray Griffin.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Bice Griffin of Atlanta; three daughters, Kathryn Ashwander and husband Alan of Atlanta, Leslie Griffin-Clark and husband Michael of Rockwall and Debra Peterson of Bandera; brother, Tildon Griffin of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Bradley Williams, Jessica Holcamb, John Ross Morris and Joshua Wayne Morris; three great-grandchildren; and niece, Robin Gooch of Balch Springs.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at Laws Chapel United Methodist Church with Dr. John Wilkey officiating. Interment followed at the O’Farrell Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

MARTHA L. CONNER COMBS
July 27, 1951 - Dec. 19, 2017
Martha L Conner Combs was born in Texarkana, Ark., July 27, 1951, to Newman L. C. Conner and Myrtle Lee Doss Conner. She graduated from Atlanta High School in 1969. She married the love of her life, Charles C. Combs, July 27, 1970. They were blessed with a son, Cliff in July 1971, and a daughter Rachel in August 1978. They lived in Atlanta and she worked in Texarkana selling Goodyear tires for almost 30 years, before moving to Lake Cherokee and eventually retiring. She was further blessed with two grandsons Kade and Cullen in 1996 and 1998 and twin granddaughters Sydney and Reagan in 2015. She lost her brief, but hard fought battle with cancer Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Combs; son, Cliff Combs; daughter, Rachel Grilley and husband Richard; four grandchildren, Kade Combs, Cullen Combs, Sydney Grilley and Reagan Grilley; sister, Mary Birchfield all of Longview; and sister, Peggy Matthews and husband James of Lufkin; and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
She has gone to her eternal home to join her mother Myrtle, father Newman, brothers Robert and Newman.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Friday, Dec. 22, at with Ronnie Raines officiating.
 
BROCK DIXON
Nov. 20, 1989 - Dec. 19, 2017
Brock Dixon, 28, of Texarkana, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, in a Dallas hospital surrounded by family.
He was born Nov. 20, 1989, in Texarkana. He was employed by Red River Army Depot and a member of Liberty Holiness Church. He enjoyed spending time playing guitar, singing and songwriting.
He is survived by his wife, Brittany Dixon of Texarkana; parents, John and Annette Dixon of Fouke, Ark.; brother, Keenan Dixon of Fouke; sister, Darian Dixon of Fouke; grandmother, Martha Horn of Fouke; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tim and Karen Collins of Queen City; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jacob and Diana Collins; nephew, Jaxon Collins; niece, Lily Collins; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at Calvary Holiness Church in Fouke.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at Calvary Holiness Church in Fouke with Bro. Tim Collins, Bro. Joe Armbrister and Bro. Mike Brewer officiating. Interment followed at Fairland Cemetery in Fouke under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Kathryn Mae Conley, 81, of Linden died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at the Linden United Methodist Church. Interment followed at the Old Saltillo Methodist Cemetery in Saltillo under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
