Starbucks opening in Atlanta

Starbucks opening in Atlanta

It can be officially announced that the specialty coffee chain Starbucks will be opening a store next to the Atlanta,Texas McDonald’s on Highway 59. To make room for Starbucks the old Henson Kickernick building that has sat vacant for several years was torn down. The proposal was presented at an Atlanta City Council Meeting earlier this year, but certain thresholds needed to be met for the plan to go through. Starbucks will use the inlet through McDonald’s to alleviate additional traffic concerns.

This comes after State Representative Gary Van-Deaver requested the review as part of House Bill 1, which passed the Legislature earlier this year.
