I struggled on whether to publish an April fool’s edition this year because of the Coronavirus, for a variety of reasons. We are in serious times where people are forced to make difficult choices.
Southwestern Electric Power Co. (SWEPCO) has received approval in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas for essential employees and contractors to be able to continue to perform critical job functions to keep the lights on. We have also worked to make sure that equipment suppliers and support industries essential to our business can continue to provide necessary equipment and services.
It is often said that, “Necessity is the mother of invention,” but that statement has never been truer for educators than during the COVID 19 school closures.
With the COVID19 school closures, daily life at Queen City schools has taken on a different look.
