The cafeteria of Mae Luster Stephens Junior High was filled with balloons, candy, excitement and batons on March 11 as the Linden Kildare Band program held auditions for both the high school and junior high majorette lines. Four girls auditioned for the high school line and ten auditioned for the junior high line.

The annual Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet and Awards was held Saturday night at Atlanta Middle School. The dinner was provided by Amigo Juans and served by the Atlanta High School Class of 2021.
Several fire crews, including the Forestry Service, were called out Monday, March 8, to combat a large fire just off the edge of the Indian Hills golf course.
