Last devotional, I wrote about satan seeking to devour. I want to write now about someone else who is seeking; someone full of love and mercy, who desires for all to be saved, someone who gave His life; a ransom for you and me, who brings life instead of destruction.
Beau Daniel Merryman, 20, pleaded guilty to the distribution of information relating to explosives and destructive devices today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Roy S. Payne. The Jefferson, Texas man plead guilty to federal violations in the Eastern District of Texas which were announced by Acting U.S. Attorney Nicholas Ganjei on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Merryman is known in Atlanta for first plastering more than 100 white supremacist stickers, according to Nate Thayer a freelance journalist.
Queen City’s Band of Champions and Atlanta’s Big Bad Band from Rabbit Land were two of just a few in all of Class 3A that made it to the finals of the state marching competition in San Antonio last week. The Band of Champions placed third overall and the Big Bad Band from Rabbit Land placed fourth overall. To be in the top four out of 211, 3A bands across the state of Texas is a great accomplishment. On Saturday, Nov. 6, Focused Care of Linden hosted Focused Fest. Kicking off at 11 A.M. the amazing people at Focused Care in collaboration with Heritage Home Health and Hospice invited everyone out to enjoy games, a bounce house, balloon animals, and best of all, a petting zoo. Those in attendance were able to visit with the quickest turtle, the cutest baby goat, a miniature horse with the biggest voice, and even a llama named Ollie who wanted all the snacks he could get. Centerpoint Energy sent out a note to their customers on November 5, letting them know that natural gas prices will increase over the winter months because of a number of different factors. However according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), it will not only be natural gas you may have to worry about, they “reflect energy expenditures for all uses, not just heating. Already at the pumps, people are also seeing those energy prices begin to move up.
