Fidelity Communications is now re-branding itself as Sparklight . In 2019 Fidelity was purchased by Cable One, Inc., providing many in the Cass County area with services like internet, television (cable), phone and business services. As of now the only thing that will change will be the branding and Sparklight will no longer accept American Express as of September 2024.

Don Henley will be re-releasing his Cass County album as part of his announcement to re-release two of his earlier solo albums. “I Can’t Stand Still” & “Cass County”. Henley, who is a founding member of the legendary rock band The Eagles, originally grew up in Linden, Texas and subsequently titled one of his albums after Cass County.
