Linden Christmas Trees

Don’t know about you, but the more than 50 little green wooden Christmas trees surrounding the courthouse in Linden seem a little forlorn. Something’s missing. Do you know or can you guess? Would not a few decorations tell the purpose? Surely these trees aren’t just to be left alone. They don’t even seem to be happy. Puffs of snow on all their branches would even be welcome. Well, just wait. There’s an answer. Read it and be tickled. These little trees when decorated are going to make the big building smile. They do every year about this time. See answer and explanation below.

‘Chime in’ in Queen City

The chimes rang out on a recent Sunday morning at the Queen City Congregational Methodist Church. It was during the morning worship service, and while the chime sounds were too soft to be heard outside in the neighborhood, they were part of the devotional worship service. Nine careful chime ringers produced a symphony of sounds for the congregation.

In His Presence

We can live in the presence of the LORD all the time. With everything going on all around us, we can still live in His presence. Just keeping Him on our mind, and in our heart. Just worshipping Him, thanking Jesus and praising Him. He is God, and God alone, He is my beloved. We can praise Him, and dwell in His presence, and we won’t be in so much turmoil and upsetness. We won’t stay worried about things. We realize that He is in control of everything, and don’t anything take Him by surprise.
