Remember God’s Goodness
Many saints of God are going through very difficult times. Many prayers seem to go unanswered. There’s some in a “testing” season, some in a trial of their faith, some in situations they’ve never experienced before. Some wonder, why isn’t God moving? Or how much longer Lord before l see a light at the end of this tunnel. Saints are weary, tired, some discouraged, and wonder why. Many who are sick and diseased pray earnestly for healing, and they continue to grow worse. This is the opportune time that satan will show up and try to get at our faith. We have to be diligent that we don’t get bitter against God because he hasn’t brought healing yet, or relief from troubles. If we are not watching and praying, and guarding our heart, satan will catch us at our weakest point to snare us. His greatest desire is to turn us away from God and destroy our faith. We need to recognize the wiles of the enemy that he doesn’t get the upper hand, and we need to guard our heart against this flesh nature that gets easily agitated, and angry at times, that we don’t bring a railing accusation against God. Satan doesn’t care how long we have been serving God, if he can cause us to doubt, turn back, get angry and bitter, then he’s done his job well. He will try to convince us that God has forsaken us, that He’s left us in our darkest hour, or doesn’t care what happens to us. Don’t give place to the devil, don’t let your flesh override your faith and love for God. Remember His goodness towards you. Remember all the times He stood with you, his faithfulness, his mercy!
