Courtney Golden, Cass County criminal district attorney, releases the following information cases disposed of in the Fifth Judicial District Court for the months of January and February with Bill Miller as presiding judge. - William Cody Duncan, 35, of Jefferson, assault on peace officer and possession of a controlled substance; sentenced to four years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division and 24 months in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division, to run concurrently, and to pay a $1,000 fine and $470 in court cost.
