MUMS football tops Eagles
The Queen City Bulldogs, seventh and eighth grade, opened their season with a convincing 26-0 victory over the Como-Pickton Eagles last Thursday, Sept. 7.

After a slow first quarter followed by a delay due to bad weather Friday night, Atlanta suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday. With the board being wiped clean from their lead on Friday, New Boston was able to bring it back around and win the game with a final score of 29 – 20.
Atlanta High School Sept. 7 – vs. New Boston (JV Maroon Football) – 5 p.m. Sept. 8 – Hallsville Invite (XC) Sept. 8 – at Paul Pewitt (V Volleyball) – 4:30 p.m.
Following up on last week’s victory against Elysian Fields, Atlanta faced the Redwater Dragons in an explosive home-game on Sept. 1.
Last week the MUMS volleyball teams traveled to Vivian for a great night of volleyball.
