Atlanta

Atlanta’s high school track program competed in the Tommy Miller Relays at Hallsville on Mar. 23, and the AMS track programs took part in the JR. Paul Parr Relays on Mar. 20-21, in Liberty-Eylau.

Varsity Boys

In the 300m hurdles Stacy Darty placed third at 40.68, in the 3200m run Matthew Morin placed fifth at 10:41.14, in long jump Kam Dickerson placed sixth at 19 feet, 10 inches and in high jump Shayden Williams placed second at 6 feet, 2 inches and Aidan Boston placed fifth at 5 feet, 10 inches.

The 4x100m relay team of Cooper Swanson, Markeylin Batton, Eli Riojas and JaBranden Wells placed fourth at 42.70, the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed second at 1:28.69 and the 4x4 relay team of Swanson, Riojas, Wells and Morin placed second at 3:31.61.

Varsity Girls

In the 100m dash JD Larry placed fourth at 13.19, in the 800m run Lucy Ransom placed fifth at 2:34.28, in high jump Caitlynn Bailey placed fifth at 4 feet, 10 inches, the 4x200m relay team of Shamijala Gillam, Larry, Makaylin King and Aysia Heard placed third at 1:48.51 and the 4x4 relay team of Kaylon Partain, Martin, Gillam and Heard placed sixth at 4:23.28.

JV Boys

In the 100m dash Bralyn Rowe placed sixth at 12.11, in the 200m dash Rowe placed first at 24.13 and Marshawn Woodberry placed second at 24.17, in the 400m dash Chase Kindred placed second at 55.26, in the 100m hurdles Marquayvious Richardson placed third at 17.65 and in the 300m hurdles Richardson placed first at 43.07.

The 4x100m relay team of Jalarion Andrews, Woodberry, Rowe and Kindred placed fourth at 44.91 and the 4x400m relay team of Woodberry, Kindred, Ian Bard and Richardson placed third at 3:44.03.

JV Girls

In the 100m hurdles Ryleigh Thompson placed second at 19.46, in the 400m dash Breonna Phelps placed sixth 1:09.59, in the 300m hurdles Thompson placed fifth at 55.79, the 4x400m relay team of Phelps, Kym Sheppard, Brooklyn Thompson and Alaija Starling placed fifth at 4:48.18, in shot Ryleigh Paige placed third at 28 feet, 4 inches and in discus Chanya Clark placed first at 85 feet, 11 1/2 inches.

Seventh Grade Boys

The seventh grade Rabbits won first placed overall as they racked up 204 points.

In thew 100m dash Jamario Crawford placed second at 12.82 and TJ Rainey placed fourth at 12.89, in the 200m dash Crawford placed fourth at 27.09, in the 400m dash Breckin Wells placed second at 1:04.07, Cannon Hammonds placed fourth at 1:05.02 and Jordan Platt placed fifth at 1:05.96, in the 100m hurdles Platt placed first at 19.03, Drake Fagan placed second at 20.40 and Dayton Havard placed fourth at 20.52 and in the 300m hurdles Fagan placed second at 52.34 and Havard placed sixth at 54.29.

In the 800m run Hammonds placed third at 2:48.32 and Nolan Hapner placed fifth at 2:50.89, in the 1600m run Jayden McCullough placed first at 6:32.92 and Brian Arenas placed sixth at 6:47.33 and in the 2400m run McCullough placed second at 9:51.16 and Arenas placed fifth at 10:27.22.

The 4x100m relay team of Dre Simmons, Rainey, Ean Riojas and Wells placed second at 50.93, the 4x200m relay team of Simmons, Rainey, Riojas and Crawford placed first at 1:46.10 and the 4x400m relay team of Simmons, Riojas, Wells and Hammonds placed second at 4:22.72. In field events, Simmons placed first in long jump at 17 feet, 3 inches and first in high jump at 4 feet, 6 inches, Rainey placed first in triple jump at 33 feet, 6 1/2 inches, Hammonds and Riojas placed 2-3 in discus with tosses of 94 feet, 7 inches and 87 feet, 11 inches respectively and in shot Riojas placed first at 36 feet, 9 inches and Hammonds placed second at 34 feet, 7 inches.

Seventh Grade Girls

Atlanta’s seventh grade girls’ squad won first place and rolled up 198 points in the process.

In the 100m dash Sariyah Williams placed second at 14.16 and Fannasia King placed fifth at 14.91, in the 200m dash Sasha Ramirez placed first at 28.35, Sariyah Williams placed third at 30.13 and Makayla Collins placed fourth at 30.50, in the 400m dash Kaylee Cupples placed third at 1:15.18 and bailey Brooks placed fifth at 1:16.26, in the 100m hurdles Chloe Simms placed second at 19,21 and Makayla Turner placed fourth at 20.35 and in the 300m hurdles Simms placed first at 59.02 and Tamara Pearson placed second at 1:02.11.

In the 800m run Cupples, Kira Scott and Kami Woods placed 1-2-3 with times of 2:52.00, 3:02.94 and 3:03.48 respectively, in the 1600m run Jaylee Phillips placed first at 7:03.73 and Lilliana Mendez placed second at 7:23.81 and in the 2400m run Phillips placed first at 10:56.40.

The 4x100m relay team of Ahlayla Noble, Ramirez, Collins and Kherington Baca placed first at 53.81, the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed first at 1:56.42 and the 4x400m relay team of Noble, Williams, Baca and Cupples placed second at 4:53.30.

In long jump Simms placed second at 13 feet, 8 inches and Williams placed fifth at 12 feet, 3 inches, in triple jump Noble placed fourth at 25 feet, 1/2 inch, in discus Kamryn Morris placed fourth at 57 feet, 3 inches and Jada Bowman placed fifth at 56 feet, 1 inch and in shot Morris placed fifth at 24 feet, 8 inches.

Eighth Grade Boys

The eighth-grade boys missed second place by just eight points.

In the 100m dash Kaigen Lloyd placed fourth at 12.78 and Colby Wells sixth at 12.87, in the 200m dash Jaden Smith placed third at 26.48 and Cortez Johnson placed fifth at 26.93, in the 400m dash Dailen Collins placed second at 1:01.71, Wells placed third at 1:02.29 and Kenzie Wiggins placed sixth at 1:05.47, in the 110m hurdles Aiden Eason placed fifth at 20.70 and in the 300m hurdles Eason placed fourth at 51.60.

In the 800m run Wiggins placed first at 2:31.19 and Braiden Tolbert placed fourth at 2:37.69, in the 1600m run Tolbert placed fourth at 6:06.00 and in the 2400m run Preston Braley placed fifth at 9:50.90.

The 4x100m relay team of Landon Thomas, TJ Hamilton, Jaden Smith and Lloyd placed third at 49.05, the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed third at 1:43.83 and the 4x400m relay team of Thomas, Hamilton, Collins and Liam McKinney placed second at 4:15.19.

In long jump Thomas placed fourth at 16 feet, 4 inches and Smith placed sixth at 15 feet, 7 1/2 inches, in triple jump Thomas placed first at 35 feet, 7 inches, Lloyd placed third at 32 feet, 7 inches and Collins placed sixth at 31 feet, 11 inches, in discus Kam Williams placed first at 123 feet, 10 inches, Wells placed third at 106 feet, 2 inches and Jaylen Finley placed fifth at 103 feet, 9 inches and in shot Williams placed first at 41 feet, 7 inches and Finley placed fifth at 36 feet, 9 inches.

Eighth Grade Girls

In the 100m dash Zion Bickham placed fifth at 14:07, in the 200m dash KeMauri Johnson placed second at 29.07 and Bickham placed fifth at 30.40, in the 400m dash Jalyssa Beltran placed third at 1:14.72 and Gracie Jeffirs placed fifth at 1:16.11, in the 100m hurdles Chloe Puckett placed third at 19.33 and Kenya Simmons placed fifth at 20.62, in the 300m hurdles Puckett placed second at 59-flat and Simmons placed fourth at 1:03.17, in the 800m run Jeffirs placed sixth at 3:22.43, in long jump Serenati Webster placed sixth at 12 feet, 11 1/2 inches and in triple jump Gracie McWilliams placed third at 29 feet, 5 inches and Webster placed sixth at 26 feet, 3 inches.

In the relays, the 4x100m team of McWilliams, Jaliyah Gordon, Skylar Spencer and Johnson placed second at 55.20, the 4x200m team of the same lineup placed first at 1:54.19 and the 4x400m team of McWilliams, Gordon, Spencer and Mackenzie Birmingham placed second at 4:41.24.

Queen City

The MUMS girls’ and boys’ track programs competed on Mar. 20.

Seventh Grade Girls

Ella Baker placed fourth in the 100m dash at 14.27, Sarah Jones placed sixth in the 200m dash at 32.62, Baker placed first overall in the 400m dash at 1:12.84 and in the 800m run Jones placed third at 3:08.15.

In the long jump event, Baker placed fourth at 13 feet, 4 1/2 inches and in triple jump baker placed third at 28 feet, 2 inches.

Seventh Grade Boys

In the 200m dash Tristan Wilkerson placed fourth at 29.63, in the 1600m run Landry Blythe placed second at 5:42.77, in the 2400m run Blythe won first place at 8:46.00, in the 110m hurdles Sam Clayton placed fourth at 22.90 and in the 300m hurdles Clayton placed sixth at 1:01.87. The 4x100m relay team of Wilkerson, T’shod Bolden, Lincoln Moore and Brady Majors placed second at 53.76, the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed second and th 4x4 relay team of Bolden, Moore, Daimion Ojeda and Majors placed third at 4:46.70. In the triple jump event, Moore placed third at 31 feet even and in pole vault Clayton placed second at 6 feet, 6 inches.

Eighth Grade Girls

Abigail Bickham placed fourth in the 1600m run at 7:09.34 and fifth in the 2400m run at 11:29.00, Mallory Hamilton placed fourth in the 100m hurdles at 19.22 and sixth in the 300m hurdles at 1:01.90, the 4x100m relay team of Ava Shelton, Breanna McConnell, Lucy Kelton and Teagan Droddy placed fifth at 1:00.47, the 4x200m relay team of Norton, McConnell, Kelton and Kaylin Griffin placed fifth at 2:10.22 and the 4x400m relay team of Norton, Griffin, Droddy and Bailee Black placed fifth at 5:20.11.

In long jump McConnell placed fifth at 13 feet, 5 inches and Shelton placed sixth at 13 feet, 2 1/2 inches, in triple jump Black placed fourth at 27 feet, 8 inches and Shelton placed fifth at 27 feet, 2 inches, in high jump Hamilton placed fifth at 4 feet, 6 inches and in discus Macy Snelgrove placed sixth at 68 feet, 3 inches.

McLeod

McLeod’s high school track program competed in the Perritte-Mustang Relays on Mar. 23, in Hughes Springs.

Varsity Boys

In the 200m dash Jackson Smith placed third at 24.08, in the 800m run Braden Patrick placed third at 2:14.27 and Ethan Arledge placed sixth at 2:21.96, in the 1600m run TJ Klingensmith placed fourth at 5:28.16 and Jase Deaton placed sixth at 5:33.93, in the 3200m run Klingensmith placed third at 12:37.82 and Deaton placed fifth at 13:37.76.

The 4x4m relay team of Trenton McKnight, Kannon Dempsey, Smith and Patrick placed third at 3:47.07, and in shot Dempsey placed first overall with a toss of 39 feet, 8 inches.

Varsity Girls

In the 100m dash Jacqulyn Shepard placed sixth at 14.46, in the 200m dash Lyla McKnight placed fifth at 28.80, in the 400m dash McKnight placed second at 1:06.24 and Maddy Blair placed third at 1:07.61, in the 100m hurdles Riley Parker and Chassie Gryder placed 3-4 at 19.21 and 19.66 respectively and in the 300m hurdles Parker placed second at 56.57.

In the 800m run Blair placed third at 2:57.65 and Reagan Mitchell placed sixth at 3:14.33, in the 1600m run Samantha Ramos placed second at 6:26.43, in the 3200m run Ramos placed fifth at 15.22.57 and in triple jump Gryder placed third at 29 feet, 6 inches.

JV Boys

McLeod’s JV boys’ team placed third overall.

Braden Bascombe placed third in the 100m dash at 12.53 and third in the 200m dash at 26.06, Eli Lucus placed second in the 400m dash at 57.72, Dylan Smith and Lucus placed 1-2 in the 800m run at 2:25.14 and 2:25.74 respectively, Jacob Foster placed second at 5:37.55 and Cole Autry fourth at 5:52.78 in the 1600m run, Chase Cook placed second at 20.23 and Patrick Dickerson placed fourth at 22.60 in the 110m hurdles and in the 300m hurdles Cook placed fourth at 51.31 and Dickerson placed fifth at 51.63.

In long jump Cook placed third at 17 feet, 3 inches and in shot Tristan Kennedy placed third with a heave of 33 feet, 5 1/2 inches.

Linden-Kildare

Linden-Kildare’s high school track program competed in the Perritte-Mustang Relays on Mar. 23, in Hughes Springs.

Varsity Girls

L-K’s girls’ track program placed second overall behind host Hughes Springs.

In the 100m dash Carley Hays placed fifth at 14.45, in the 200m dash Jamiah Birmingham placed first at 27.05 and teammate Madi Bynum placed second at 27.09, in the 100m hurdles Jacee Quaid placed second at 19.20 and Zoe Love placed sixth at 20.10 and in the 300m hurdles Quaid placed third at 57.73 and Love placed fourth at 58.85.

The 4x100m relay team of Jakiah Birmingham, Jamiah Birmingham, Bynum and Ahstin Patterson placed first at 50.77, and the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed first at 1:49.71.

In long jump Jamiah placed first at 15 feet, 2 inches and Bynum placed sixth at 13 feet, 11 1/2 inches, in triple jump Jamiah placed first at 33 feet, 9 1/2 inches, in discus Rylee Burns placed second at 86 feet, 5 inches and Kaycee Neville placed fifth at 67 feet, 3 inches and in shot Neville placed first at 30 feet, 9 1/2 inches and Burns placed fourth at 28 feet, 7 inches.

Varsity Boys

In the 100m dash Charlie Kirkland placed third at 11.68 and Daquavious Richardson placed fifth at 11.88, in the 200m dash Kirkland placed second at 24.03 and Richardson placed fifth at 24.15, in the 100m hurdles Luke Minson placed sixth at 20.81, in long jump Kirkland placed third at 18 feet, 5 1/2 inches and Jacorey Birmingham placed fifth at 18 feet, 3 1/2 inches and in shot Omar Ruiz placed fourth at 36 feet, 4 inches.

Bloomburg

Bloomburg’s junior high boys’ track program competed on Mar. 20, and the varsity girls competed on Mar. 23.

Varsity Girls

In the 100m hurdles Jacee Glasgow placed first at 17.31 and in triple jump Cassie Glasgow placed first at 32 feet, 4 inches.

Seventh Grade Boys

In the 2400m run Craig Johnson placed second at 10:02.00 and Kaiden Priest placed sixth at 10:31.00, and in discus Gunner Wiley placed second at 81 feet, 6 1/2 inches.
