Tigers litter All-District list
Linden-Kildare’s football team was just one win away from making the playoffs in Kyle Freeman’s first year as AD and head football coach.
Through growing pains of fielding underclassmen, playing players both ways, injuries and adversity the Tigers laced up and battled each game they played and a few players earned All-District honors in the process.
Jay Birmingham was named a First Team Running Back on the offensive side of the ball, and a First Team Defensive Back on the defensive side of the ball.
Jackson Lee was named a First Team Tight End on the offensive side of the ball, and a First Team Defensive Lineman on the defensive side of the ball.
Jonathan Owen was named an Honorable Mention Quarterback and a First Team punter, and teammate Aiden Hernandez was named a First Team Utility Player.
Ta’Shun Mitchell earned Second Team Fullback and Honorable Mention Inside Linebacker honors, Colton Justice earned Second Team Offensive Lineman and Second Team Defensive Lineman honors,
Ruston Hargett earned Second Team Offensive Lineman honors and Jakyric Nard earned Second Team Outside Linebacker honors.
