Three Rabbits compete in FCA All-Star game
Three seniors from a Rabbit squad who made it to the fifth round of the state playoffs were invited to play in the Red River Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star game June 17, at Texas High’s baseball facility.
Randall Mason, Kelby Smith and Jackson Warren were integral players for the Texas team who beat the Arkansas team 16-3.
Mason led the way with two hits and three RBIs. Smith and Warren each had singles.
All three guys threw an inning in the game and held Team Arkansas scoreless when they were on the mound.
Defensively Warren wowed the fans with his barehanded putout on a slow roller to third base.
“These guys had a huge impact on Rabbit baseball and we look forward to what they will accomplish in the future,” Rabbit Head Coach David Hooten said.
