Texas History Minute

Linden-Kildare’s varsity volleyball program had an excellent season which culminated with a district championship and a bi-district championship.

For their hard work several Lady Tigers took home All-District accolades.

Senior baller Rylee Burns was named Most Valuable Player, senior Hannah Wall was named Defensive MVP, sophomore Jamiah Birmingham was named Newcomer of the Year and Head Coach Shekita Love-Martin was named Coach of the Year.

Sophomore Jakiah Birmingham and senior Kaycee Neville earned First Team All-District honors, sophomores Carley Hays and Lynlee LeJeune earned Second Team All-District honors, and Honorable Mention players were junior Alexis Armstrong, senior Zoe Ngatzu, sophomore Jacee Quaid and junior Allie Watson.

Players who earned Academic All-District honors were Burns, Hays, Lacy Johnson, LeJeune, Neville, Ngatzu, Quaid, Wall, Watson and Jakiah Birmingham.
