Rabbits sweep Red Lick

Behind Deondre Simmons’ 15, the seventh grade Rabbits improved to 2-0 on the year, beating the Mustangs 46-22. Jordan Henderson and TJ Rainey scored nine points each, Noah Sheffield five, Jaylen Henderson four, and Hayes Highland’s four rounded out the scoring for the Rabbs.

Seven different Rabbs scored for the seventh grade B team, resulting in a 20-9 victory. Menace Lloyd led with six points. Other scorers included: Ean Riojas four, Logan Johnson two, Colt Engle two, Braylon Cook two, Drake Fagan two, and Tuff Navarro two.

Atlanta’s eighth grade boys’ basketball team improved their record to 1-1 by beating Red Lick 47-27. Easton Patterson led all scorers with 17, Kaigen Lloyd netted nine, Dailen Collins eight, Jacolby Wells six, Jaylen Finley four4, Landon Thomas two and Jay Smith one for the winners.

After a slow start, the Rabbits’ eighth grade B team also was victorious, 19-16, with 16 of the Rabbs points coming in the second half. Scoring for the Rabbs: AJ Falls nine, Kenzie Wiggins four, Tristan Gaye three and Aiden Eason three.
