Queen City tops rival Linden-Kildare in volleyball

Queen City’s volleyball teams scrimmaged county rival Linden-Kildare this past Saturday.

The varsity match was a barnburner as the two teams went five sets.

Queen City won the first two sets, 25-15 and 25-22, but L-K took the next two, 25-23 and 25-19.

The Lady Bulldogs clinched set five, 15-9, to end the battle with a “W”.

Chyna Stiger posted six kills and 10 aces, Hannah Fitts added six kills, Alex Larry had five kills and Gracie Weeks totaled six aces.

The junior varsity Lady Bulldogs posted a 2-set victory over L-K with scores of, 25-8 and 25-22.
