Queen City powerlifters compete in FCA Liftoff at Texas High

Queen City powerlifters competed in the FCA Liftoff at Texas High Jan. 18, which was the program’s first meet of the year. Cedric Davis turned in a total of 1,395 pounds in the Super Heavy Weight division after squatting 575 pounds, benching 290 and deadlifting 530. That performance netted Davis a second place finish. Justin Lance placed third in the 252-pound weight class after a total of 1,345 pounds which come from squatting 600 pounds, benching 290 and deadlifting 455. Austin Terry placed eighth in the 165-pound weight class after lifting a total of 945 pounds. Terry squatted 390 pounds, benched 170 and deadlifted 385. The Bulldog powerlfiters will next compete in the Atlanta Iron Invitational Feb. 3.
