Queen City Power hosts inaugural meet

Queen City hosted its inaugural Bulldog Power Meet Feb. 13.

QC’s boys’ powerlifting squad placed first overall and ahead of lifters from Overton, Harleton and Clarksville.

Cedric Davis turned in some impressive numbers as he posted a total lift of 1,540 pounds, Kenneth Allison placed first in the 132 weight class, Delvon Federick placed first in the 148 weight class, Christian Nard placed second in the 148 weight class, Charlie Kirkland-Campbell placed third in the 148 weight class, James Obenoskey placed second in the 165 weight class, Kaden Satterfield placed third in the 165 weight class, Logan Niedens placed fourth in the 165 weight class, Mason Stringer placed second in the 181 weight class, Aaron Jones placed first in the 198 weight class, Tanner McCarthy placed first in the 220 weight class and Daniel Jones placed second in the 242 weight class.

Davis is currently sitting second in the Region, Justin Lance third, Kenneth Allison 14 th and Delvon Federick 20th.

Each lifter has a chance to qualify for Regionals as the Top 12 in each weight class qualifies for Regionals.

For the ladies Erica Lavoie placed first in her weight class.

QC Power will compete in Maud’s Last Chance Qualifier event Thursday, Feb. 25.
