Queen City Lady Bulldogs litter All-District list

Queen City’s volleyball team enjoyed quite a season as they won a district championship.

The 14-3A All-District volleyball list was recently released and several Lady Bulldogs earned superlatives.

Senior Lauren Carrell was named the Most Valuable Player, senior Mallori Stringer was named Most Valuable Setter and Head Coach April Chism was named Coach of the Year.

Seniors Trinity Oden and Jamecia Cook earned First Team honors, junior Brenna Turbeville and sophomore Dori Sasser earned Second Team honors and both senior Serenity Oden and sophomore Kerian Thomas earned Honorable Mention status.

Lady Bulldogs who obtained Academic All-District honors were: Stringer, Carrell, Turbeville, Sasser, Thomas, T. Oden, Makenna Hamilton and Ruby McCasland.
