Queen City Iron competes in Maud

Queen City’s powerlifting program took part in the Maud Invitational on Jan. 30 and the boys’ team finished fourth out of 11 schools and 112 lifters participating.

T’Shadrick Bolden placed second overall in the 114-pound weight class with a total lift of 625 pounds, Lincoln Moore placed fifth in the 132s with a total lift of 710 pounds, Thomas Guest placed third in the 148-pound weight class with a total lift of 1,000 pounds, Easton West placed eighth in the 148-pound weight class with a total lift of 870 pounds, Cade Ramage placed 12th in the 148-pound weight class with a total lift of 685 pounds, Trent Treadway placed eighth in the 165-pound weight class with a total lift of 940 pounds, Damion Ojeda placed 11th in the 165-pound weight class with a total lift of 905 pounds, Dion Metzger placed 18th in the 165-pound weight class with a total lift of 740 pounds, Brayden Cook placed 20th in the 165-pound weight class with a total lift of 720 pounds, Tristan Wilkerson placed fifth in the 181-pound weight class with a total lift of 860 pounds, Miles Hogue placed seventh in the 181-pound weight class with a total lift of 650 pounds, Kordell Federick placed third in the 242-pound weight class with a total lift of 1,305 pounds, David Jackson placed first in the 308-pound weight class with a total lift of 1,510 pounds and Justin Pankey placed fourth in the 308-pound weight class with a total lift of 1,120 pounds.

For the ladies, Abigail Leverett placed first in her weight class with a total lift of 860 pound and teammate Aniyah Wilson placed seventh in her weight class with a total lift of 560 pounds.
