Queen City FFA is State bound

On Apr. 16, members of the Floriculture and Entomology CDE teams competed in their area contests. Both teams placed fifth in their contests, securing each team a spot at their state contests.
In Floriculture, Payton Boone earned High Point Individual, placing first out of 143 individuals. McKynli Steaveson also placed ninth out of 143. Other team members are Makayla Jackson and Isabella Sullivan.
In Entomology, Jenna Squyres was a top ten individual, placing ninth out of 91 individuals. Other team members are Ruby McCasland, Bailey Pierce, and Zoe Breach.
